Two seasons of the microfilm — Better Tourism, Better Life, Better World, is based on selected 8 cases of the WTA best practices in poverty alleviation through tourism. With the self-narration of characters as the main form of presentation, the film shows the typical image of the localities with real video footage, and goes deep into the communities where the cases of poverty alleviation were collected from. By switching between different characters’ points of view which connects the past, the present and the future, the film demonstrates the vitality and transformation that tourism development brings to the local communities.
