In his address, ZHENG Hao noted that despite geopolitical and international challenges, the global tourism industry continues its growth trajectory, demonstrating remarkable resilience and vitality. Driven by multiple favorable factors—notably the visa-free policies, the expansion of international flight networks, and enhanced payment convenience—China’s inbound tourism has entered a new era of rapid growth and high-quality development. The WTA stands ready to harness its platform to foster international cooperation and support Gansu’s global outreach, working alongside global industry partners to champion the sustainable advancement of world tourism.

Centered on the theme "Gansu – Wonders of the Silk Road", the conference convened more than 180 overseas delegates—including travel trade professionals and social media influencers from 15 countries and regions—alongside representatives from local travel agencies and media outlets across Gansu Province.
